Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 70, 1970) is an American former tight end in the NFL. Gonzalez played for the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. The NFL's most successful tight ends and the third most effective overall receivers, he has been ranked as the NFL's most effective tight end, in terms of receiving yards, receptions and receptions, among other things.

Former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports Studio analyst.
